Safety Instructions #
- Please do not expose the SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer to direct sunlight or other heat sources.
- Remove all objects that might get into the ventilation openings or that could prevent adequate cooling of the electronics.
- When setting up the SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer, make sure that the power plug and socket are easily accessible.
- If the SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer is turned off by unplugging the power cord, wait 6 seconds before reconnecting the power cord to resume normal operation.
- Use only the approved power supply provided by NewTec Design: Audio GmbH.
- Do not expose the SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer to strong vibrations and shocks during operation.
- The SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer must not be exposed to bumps or knocks during operation or transport and must not be dropped.
- If foreign bodies or fluids should enter the SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer, switch the device off immediately and pull out the mains plug from the socket. Then remove the foreign object or the water and have it checked by the customer service.
- In order to ensure the optimal performance and service life of your SMARTplayer or SMARTstreamer, please use it in an operating environment that is within the following temperature and humidity ranges.
• Temperature: 0-40 ° C
• Humidity: 20 – 80% relative humidity
